A gorgeous, vibrantly colorful artstyle that’s the first thing I think of when I hear “Kirby” attached to what’s sadly one of the blander titles in the series. Yeah, I know it’s a remake of an NES game, but this just feels so basic and clunky. None of the copy abilities feel very good to use, they’re just so slow and leave you so open to enemy attacks. Combine that with really short and less than memorable, stages, it’s just not that fun of a time.

Even with the issues though, it’s still Kirby, so at it’s worst it’s just kinda underwhelming. Not a bad time, but not one I plan on going back to any time soon.
