This game is really stupid and the definition of “the writer’s barely disguised fetish”, but also I was so fascinated by its existence during my entire playthrough that it was consistently entertaining just to see how ridiculous it would get. I can’t help but appreciate this game from the standpoint of being something that would basically never release nowadays. Whether anyone likes it or not it is absolutely essential PS2 weirdness.
