The worst of the From Software souls like. Started strong, and pondered into monotony with the most uninspired enemies and locations. Still, nothing is quite as infectious at that Souls gameplay loop.
2 very funny things, firstly is this was my first Dark Souls in 2014 or 2015 on the Xbox 360. I live in a country where back then games would still be copied and sold for very cheap, so the copy I got said "Scholar Of The First Sin" but it was ACTUALLY just regular Dark Souls 2 but with the DLCs installed, and that might have made the experience less taxing for me back then, as SOFTSs design is HORRIBLE with the enemies it just throws at you and puts everywhere (a billion big knights then a dragon in front of the gate of the boss fight called "Dragonslayer", I mean CMON LMAO) I loved the game as I was very young back then, but replaying it now is just soul crushing man lmfao
