Too short, easy, straightforward, and linear to really satisfy the hardened kingsfield gamer searching for the next generation of action RPG entertainment in the first year of the PS2, but the pretty quick movement speed and simplicity might make it a good onboarding title for people who are interested in from's older work. I think the biggest stock here is the additional detail in the graphics kind of makes the game look worse? The PS1 crust of the old KFs kind of forces your imagination to do a lot of the work, whereas here you can kind of feel that they have one tile set per area and they're just kind of ladling it on everywhere.
