I took my time to finally catch up on this game. Part 3 already felt like a conclusion, but I'm very glad that we still got this great fourth game. The story really got to me, partly because of the new, well-written characters, partly because of the nostalgia and of course because of the fantastic ending, which brought a tear or two to my eye. In terms of gameplay, this game does a lot of new things, the rope mechanic alone freshens things up immensely. I also really enjoyed stealth. The pirate theme fits the series very well and I was really excited to see where the series would go. Overall I thought the game was a bit too long, it could have been shortened a bit here and there, but all in all it was a fantastic conclusion of the series.
