Who knew making Eggman a father would give us one of the best 3D Sonic games ever.
They perfected the Boost here (at least w/ how far you can possibly go with the formula) and the cyberspace designs are pretty solid with some misses here and there.
Way better than it's last couple predecessors' imo.

IT'S A GAME ABOUT MONKEYS.
IT DOESN'T HAVE TO GO THIS HARD.
Level design, soundtrack, physics. I love Donkey Kong but I especially love this game for getting me into the series in the first place on the Wii U and I'm glad I got to actually pull the trigger on the purchase of the port and replay it.
I will admit though that I'm a fraud and did not play Funky Mode but I still had a phenomenal time. The bosses (except Volcano Dome) were all just fun to play as opposed to making me want to shrimp myself like DKC Returns.

Honestly, it was very frustrating to get this day one and immediately lose the immersion that I normally get with Pokemon games.
It sucks because underneath all of it there's a game that does rly cool things with the Pokemon franchise in terms of story and quality of life. Sadly GF already took my money so the only thing we can hope is that they change their development practices for the next mainline game.

Been wanting to get to this one for a long time. This was my first inFamous game and it delivered on the aspects of inFamous I was most interested in: the karma system.
The game is a little dated in terms of character models which is very noticeable on the PS5 but it still looks fine everywhere else.
The story is pretty good but the pacing felt too quick and the scope a bit more contained for such a huge concept like random superpowered humans.
I really enjoyed the combat and powers (video on top bby) but I wasn't a fan of the health system ALTHOUGH the bosses are designed with this in mind so eh.
Overall, not bad. Shorter than I thought but I enjoyed my time with it. Seems like I gotta check out the other inFamous games cause it seems like most in their fandom day the originals are miles ahead.

2D Sonic but good.
All jokes aside it's a very solid fast-paced platformer. I got more used to the combat as time went on and the level design is actually amazing. I agree with the critique that boss battles feel like they encourage the trial and error strategy but it didn't get frustrating until some of the endgame bosses.
Music is solid too but the worst parts of the game are definitely the voice acting and the somewhat basic script.
I still had a fun time with it and I hope to do a Carol and Milla run eventually or play the sequel.

Man. I had such high hopes for this game, especially after the demo. As someone who considers the original Three Houses one of their favorite game of all time it was just draining to go through this one.
This was my first Warriors game but they have such a bad reputation online that I made up in my mind that I was only here for the story (I'll get to that in a bit). The game play was fine for my first playthrough but the way ppl feel about the monastery in 3H is exactly how I feel about having to do the hack n' slash 5000 every time with the effort of pouring milk in a bowl.
I played one and a half routes of this game and as someone who is literally obsessed with the story of 3H, I like to just not think about this one. I did Golden Wildfire and beat it and I'm not as mad about Claude choosing to suddenly kill the Pope as I am about him being stripped of a story that solely revolves around him. They unironically gave bro Edelgard's leftovers. At least Crimson Flower and Scarlet Blaze benefit from the fact that the conflict with the church is entirely owned by Edelgard. The beef that Claude has with the church is so hastily put together for the sake of a second half of the route.
I then played half of Scarlet Blaze, eventually dropping it due to boredom because it was Crimson Flower DX. Too bad Crimson Flower is actually interesting due to the Academy/Part 1 buildup.
Didn't play Azure Gleam but based off what I read I would have been wasting my time.
Arval and Shez were such cool additions too but the game also leaves such an unsatisfying conclusion to their arcs and backgrounds that will never be expanded upon because this game isn't getting DLC.
One positive of the game is getting to see the Fodlan cast again but the magic in their interactions from Houses is just missing in Hopes. I'm just gonna chock this up to KT wanting to skip the Academy phase all together here by giving it one chapter (which sounded good but once you play the War phase you think otherwise).
Byleth is kinda a character here but having to recruit them to get the best ending is just so incredibly cringe lmao.
One thing I DO appreciate Hopes for is putting a face to the names we heard in Houses and expanding on the timeline of events that lead up to the game. I stand by my take that the world-building of Fodlan is damn near flawless so to see Hopes not mess that up was cool at least
Overall: game could have been good, but is just kinda boring. Play Fire Emblem: Three Houses for the Nintendo Switch family of systems.
