I actually just replayed this game recently, and it aged fairly well. It's definitely the most creative NSMB game in terms of level design. I was surprised by how many features and gimmicks appeared only in this title and not the others. I also enjoyed the creative (non-Koopaling) bosses and optional challenge routes (Mini Mushroom boss fights are a great idea).
