Sea of Stars es un pequeño milagro. Un homenaje a RPGs clásicos que utiliza muchas técnicas e ideas modernas para ofrecer una cosa que resulta familiar e innovadora a la vez.
Bebe mucho de sagas como Golden Sun en cuanto a la exploración y el planteamiento del mundo y de los RPG de Mario en cuanto a los combates, pero ofrece sus propias ideas y vueltas de tuerca a ambos aspectos.
La historia no es nada del otro mundo, es más una excusa para plantear una serie de ubicaciones interesantes a las que ir, pero tiene buenos personajes y momentos muy emotivos que no esperaba al empezarlo.
Visualmente es PRECIOSO. Uno de los pixel art más bonitos que he tenido el gusto de ver, acompañado de una iluminación fantástica y unos diseños estupendos tanto para el entorno como para los personajes, enemigos y demás.
Lo he disfrutado un montón y quiero quitarme el sombrero ante este equipo, que ha conseguido hacer algo fantástico en su primer intento de hacer un RPG. Estaré muy atento si quieren volver a intentarlo otra vez.

Sea of Stars is a small miracle. An homage to classic RPGs that makes use of many modern techniques and ideas to offer something that's at the same time familiar and innovative.
It's heavily inspired by series such as Golden Sun in terms of exploration and how the world is presented and from the Mario RPGs in terms of combat, but it offers its own ideas and spins to both aspects.
The story isn't that great, it's more an excuse to bring you to plenty interesting locations, but it has good characters and truly emotional moments that I didn't anticipate in the beginning.
Visually, it's GORGEOUS. One of the most beautiful pixel art games I've had the pleasure to see, along fantastic lighting and great designs both for the environment and characters, enemies and such.
I enjoyed it quite a lot and hats off to the team, who managed to create something brilliant on their first attempt to make an RPG. I'll keep an eye out if they want to try again.
