Did you know? You can skip the tutorial if you drive backwards from where you begin: you will be warped to an unbashedly difficult vs. CPU race, who thought this was right?

Also also, you unlock Time Attack after collecting EIGHTY TWO SPRAY CANS. Good luck collecting Spray Cans before you can even practice and study the tracks proper. At least the game looks nice, but that's about it. Never thought I'd feel disappointment in the same level as what I felt when playing BBTAG...

Probably won't make you budge or give this game a second chance...but the spray can condition to unlock time trial IS FALSE. I have no idea who had started spreading that idea, but it is confirmed to be false.

...Although admittedly, while less frustrating in the long run comparatively, you DO have to beat the first row of cups to unlock the second row, then beat those to unlock the final cup in that row...and beating THAT is what unlocks Time Trial.

Still, I get that it can be frustrating to get used to the grips if you are used to Kart, but you could give it some time or try approaching it as a different game [it reminded me of MK8's heavy handling compared to other games] and you could get to appreciate it more than now.

Ahh, do that's what it is, it sounds much, MUCH clearer now for the Time Trial unlock. Thanks for clearing that up, actually! Funnily enough, I was about to cave in yesterday but I was still feeling pretty tilted. Maybe today's the day, nothin's guaranteed though.
Well, hopefully second time's the charm for ya- funnily enough in April 26th an update named v2.1 dropped not only that makes AI rubberband somewhat less, which has helped some get better grips with the Grand Prix...but also, Online/Addons/Time Attack get unlocked AS SOON AS YOU FINISH/SKIP THE TUTORIAL. In my case, where I took my 2.0 save to 2.1, it unlocked the time trial mode as soon as I entered the game despite that I hadn't completed the original condition.
