Playing through this game was a fantastic nostalgia trip, from listening to the music to the great menu art style. The graphics also look great for a game released in 2007. I don't mind the design of the career mode, but locking other events because your level wasn't high enough was a bit annoying; it felt like the game was slowing down my progression. I definitely prefer the career mode design change in Forza Motorsport 3. The region idea in the career mode could have been amazing, but I would have made the swap between regions more significant. For example, they could have some races hidden alongside the cars, making the region change more special and substantial (bearing in mind that with each swap of the region, the more expensive the swap becomes).
