Honestly this is just a fun shooty thing with tons o' colours, not too serious. I used a keyboard cause i was too lazy to connect my controller, but it probably feels more natural with one. Just like any classic arcade cabinet type game, not toooooo much variation in what happens level-to-level, but the mechanics and complexity do allow for a good curve of enjoyment, and it's easy to jump back in after a death.
