More an interesting experiment than a truly great game that Bioware used to be capable of. The twist is great (though a bit predictable; more interesting is how they pull it off) and there's some beautiful visuals, but the game is very stiff feeling. You can tell it was Bioware's first shot at action. A controller and the "Jade Empire in Style" mod is the recommended way to play, but good luck finding a controller that works on PC. The mapping is pretty much busted on everything but a wired Xbox 360 controller.
