I like this series for the base-building, survival and exploration aspects, and so on, and I enjoyed but never got good at Dead in Bermuda, so I had high hopes for this one. I like it well enough aside from the combat, which feels shoehorned into the formula and I really don't like slowly standing around and taking turns missing seven times each. Super dull.

Got a few evenings of enjoyment out of this one and I did enjoy doling out tasks while managing my crew, exploring the island and getting to know my viking gang, so it certainly wasn't a bad experience, but the boring combat ultimately drove me away and made me lose interest. Moving on!
