I was able to play Alan Wake for the first time on PC several years ago and found it to be a very good game. Using a flashlight and illuminating the enemies to be able to eliminate them was very entertaining and the story caught me despite being left with an half-open ending. The music i like and the songs of Poets of the Fall are really good.
After so many years I finally had the option to replay it and get the platinum trophy.
The game needs to be finished 2 times, the first in easy or normal difficulty and a second in nightmare difficulty (which is unlocked by finishing the above mentioned). Also Alan Wake has many collectibles and some of them appear only in nightmare difficulty. In addition to that you have to eliminate enemies with certain weapons and some challenges that consist of finishing some portion of a level under certain conditions.
