Mad Props for Playstation Plus making all the Ratchet and Clank titles streamable.

So I finally got around to finishing this game. I had a hard time on the PS2 version due to clunky controls and poor graphics. I played the 2016 version a couple years ago and I imagined this game to be almost same with minor differences. BOY was I wrong.

The first few planets were pretty identical. I went through them thinking, "wow I totally remember doing this". However, after Nebula G34 the game diverged and it became wildly different. It almost felt like I uncovered a new ratchet game. Whole planets and gameplay that were none existent in the 2016 version. Upon finishing the story, I view this game now as the more superior and complete version of Ratchet and Clank's origins story. Move aside 2016!

Pros:
- Better Ratchet and Clank interactions/character arc
- Way better villain in Drek
- No Nefarious (cuz of 2016 version)
- Great planet lineup and pacing
- Couldn't believe the sheer amount of gadgets this game had. Definitely had more than some of the later entries. Quite surprised that a few gadget made their first appearance in this game overall like the mag boots and the disguise thingy.
- Honestly solid game for its time
- Clank puzzles that reminded me a lot of the Size Matters puzzles

Cons:
- That MF camera
- Those MF checkpoints!!! My god it was like one per planet
- Ammo just never existed. Burned through my bolts purchasing ammo.
- Bolts never existed. I legit had to use the bolt glitch so I could afford the RYNO and Tesla Claw
- Drek was mad hard without RYNO, Tesla Claw or nano upgrade.
- Don't think I can sit through challenge mode
- Not a great weapon lineup. Hard to kill things at range
- No weapon leveling, but forgivable
- FUCK Planet Oltanis

Overall I loved this game. Couldn't believe I skipped it to go directly to Going Commando. I missed out when I first played the series.
