While being better than its predecesor I still feel none of the pokemon DLCs have been able to leave a lasting impression beyond introducing hot characters to jack off to (which they will refuse to add to the gacha game, to prevent me from emptying my bank account on rolling for Avery)
The map in this one is fucking atrocious (except for having the only decent cave in a pokemon game in the last 10 years) but I liked the focus on double battles and the trials were decently fun.
The story is just baffling though. I can stand most of it being about grade school shenanigans but getting to meet the professor without Arven around is bizarre, and so is the little fanfare that terapagos and Kieran's arc get.
