An excellent experience from top to bottom. I liked Bayonetta for its fluid combat, it’s witty sense of humor, and it’s BOOBA. Bayonetta never takes itself too seriously and nails the over-the-top sexual atmosphere, so the story can suffer a little in terms of narrative depth and meaning, but I never really cared because the gameplay was so balls-to-the-wall and enjoyable. Bayonetta is a perfect game to enjoy for what’s on the screen in front of you: insane angel slaughter, wacky yet suave characters, and the aforementioned BOOBA.
