I had never played the original Spyro 1, only the Reignited version, and I'm actually pleasantly surprised how well it holds up.

Other than a pretty awkward camera (it was 1998 after all), it plays just as well as its remake, and has a wonderful soundtrack and distinct visual style and art direction. Very fun and a great start to the series.
