Still can't top Zero for me but had a lot more fun with this one than Kiwami 1. The plot kind of falls apart at the end but I enjoyed the new additions to the cast and Goda was a fun villain. Majima had the appropriate amount of screen time and didn't get annoying like he did in K1.

I used a mod that replaced certain licensed songs in K2 with the originals from the PS2 Yakuza 2. Comparing them, I'm really not sure what they were thinking. The ones present in K2 are totally laughable and kneecap the dramatic moments they appear. The ones present in the original add a lot more impact and power to those scenes.

I'd like to play the PS2 version some day, heard it has some content that didn't make it into the remake. Regardless, Yakuza remains incredibly fun.
