Not that much harder than the other Super Star Wars games in retrospect, but it likely is still the hardest and they already set a pretty needlessly high bar difficulty-wise. Feels a bit more thought out for the most part in terms of polish and such but because it's so obtuse it doesn't really end up feeling like much of a better experience. The lack of variety in music isn't really improved upon, the stage design is a bit weaker, and now there are required Chewbacca levels that are extremely fucking agonizing. The real advantage here is the somewhat improved variety, and just barely enough to boost it from a 4 to a 5. I also quite like the bullshit Darth Vader fight at the end for some inexplicable reason. It sucks so bad but there's really something about it.

There's definitely a charm to these games in spite of everything, but I'm not really convinced they're particularly good anymore. I'll do Super RotJ just so I can have all three rebeaten but I doubt I'll have much more to say.
