Pretty lacking compared to the NES version, oddly enough, and also seems to have less identity if that makes sense. It kind of is indeed just "Batman, the video game", whereas the NES version is recognizable and also actually cool, albeit a bit too hard for my usual tastes. This is definitely much easier, at least.
