This game’s story isn’t very compelling and kinda shoves its way between Assassin’s Creed II and Brotherhood where I don’t feel that it belongs nor does it feel organic. I think the story and characters of the other handheld AC game Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines is better than this game. However, the gameplay of Assassin’s Creed II: Discovery is much better and way more fun than AC Bloodlines. I was much more interested in completing this game than Bloodlines simply because the gameplay was fun. I think the developers did a good job translating the vibe of Assassin’s Creed’s into a 2D game. It isn’t the best game in the world, but it is short and if it looks interesting to you then I would recommend giving it a try. As far as handheld AC games go, AC Bloodlines has the better story and character, but AC II Discovery has the better gameplay, you decide what appeals to you more.
