I played this game so many times back in the xbox 360 days. It's combat is still just as great coming back.
Admittedly, going back to it the cheap QTE deaths are and the tiring button mashing moments in the boss fights and torture attacks make it a bit less endlessly repayable. I will say in my memory, I remember the golden and flaming enemies being the worst but I kinda like how them making me rethink how I'm using my witch time a nice shake up.
Anyways, Bayonetta 1 isn't quite my all time greatest action game for me like it was back in the day but I still love it dearly.
