This game screams classic arcade games. The Story is that Dirk the Daring, a bumbling/ funny knight saves the seducing Princess Daphne from an evil dragon, classic story for arcade games, and improved above just the cliche from having the knight be what I just said he is. The Voice acting works well too, it is the same kind you could expect from a Don Bluth Project. The Graphics are hand drawn 2D and beautiful, in the Don Bluth style, bringing a new groundbreaking kind of animation for arcade games. The Gameplay has you press the right directional buttons or the sword button at the right time, for every right task or you die in a funny way, warning they don't warn you when to make a choice, you have to think when to do that yourself, which helps with people thinking for themselves. The Music is great, it's soothing and cartoony style improve the already great atmosphere. Dragon's Lair is one of the best arcade games out there.
