Very good first piece of DLC. It reminded me quite a lot of The Pitt from Fallout 3, and feels like this games version of that. The story isn't mind blowing but it does have layers to it as you have to choose to either side with the workers or the person running the place poorly. You get some cool new weapons and armour that I took with me into the base game to wreck ♥♥♥♥ up. I also love how the guard bots look like power armour guys from the Fallout games, and the door to the factory is shaped to look just like a vault door from Fallout too. Lastly I liked the little moments like when I saved a girl from a group of slavers in the base game, and she mentioned that she was separated from her mother. I was then able to meet the mother in this DLC and reunite the two. Its a small touch but something I really enjoyed, as InExile did a good job of making this DLC feel connected to everything you did in the base game.

The things I didn't like are how important NPCs can die which kind of ruins your playthrough. At one point a person I chose to side with died in a combat encounter and I had to reload. It was annoying since up until this point the guards used non-lethal weapons so I assumed the NPC was just knocked out but then only found later she was actually dead. You also hear throughout the DLC that some bandits are coming to attack the factory which adds urgency to you resolving the questline, but then when you do have to defend the factory its only one combat encounter which was disappointing since I thought it would be longer.

Otherwise though I really enjoyed this DLC and can recommend it to anyone who loved the base game!
