I was very into Assassin's Creed back in the PS3/Xbox360 but I fell off the series after Black Flag but years later, I had an urge to play some AC for some reason.
I remember back when it release Unity launched in a deplorable state and got a lot of shit from the gaming community given its strong presence of bugs and glitches but it saw resurgence in popularity time later which is what led me to give it a try and... yeah, this is just a another Assassin's Creed title, kinda more of the same just with prettier graphics and animations, a surspringly well thought-out combat system and... OH! Microtransactions...on a full priced game...
