An underwhelming sequel that falters in the same areas the original did, like: having difficult platforming sections, no health spawns when desperately needed, tricky environmental 'puzzles', unintuitive level design and it all combined to an unfun experience and makes me really question why people call it "one of the best games of all time".
It's such a shame too, because I want to like these games but being infuriating by jank like the AI body blocking me out of cover really isn't my cup of tea. The story isn't really there either, not being as strong as the first but it at least has some pretty nice, memorable characters.
