The gameplay is amazing, except for some gimmicks and everything about Jeanne's missions, but hey, bayonetta 1 had problems with gimmicks too, some even worse (fucking insta-kills quick time events)i think i prefer bayonetta 2 gameplay a bit more tho. however this game lost a lot of the charm in the franchise, gameplay-wise and specially story-wise. Games of this genre don't need complex stories but holy f*ck this one is garbage and even desrespectful for the fans.
I liked playing as Viola and i really like her adition to the series, but they didn't know what to do with her in the story, actually, not even the classic characters are great in this game besides idk, Enzo e Rodin, it's just pure badly writed mess that left a bad flavor in my mounth, for the love of god Platinum Games hire a screenwriter.
