Don't mean to pick your brain nor come across rude but I will frankly never understand the 'time = monetary worth' argument. I get it if it was 15 hours of an explicitly bad game, but 15 hours of neatly curated 2D platforming when other companies fart out boring 4 hour campaigns and recycled multiplayer for $70 are entirely different entities.

To each their own, but I'm always amused and confused by these sorts of "reviews"

I get your point but i can buy baldurs gate 3 for 60 dollars and that lasts over 100 hours

@Kepler22b okay but that stands in favor of my point as well; they're entirely different entities, almost non-comparable aside from the fact they're both video games. It's back on the quality of the time invested vs how much you put in to begin with. I have not played BG3 but have heard nothing but great things, but many of my friends who have played it say there are moments where it slows down, and may slog a bit in the second act, specifically. To each their own, but I find a lean, 15 hour, repayable experience that's "all killer, no filler" to be arguably more appealing than a 150 RPG that has 15+ hours of "menial" or "derivative" gameplay.

Also why didn't you buy BG3 then when 2D Mario games haven't ever been longer than 15 hours to begin with? Just applying your time-to-value logic ¯\(ツ)

I buy a variety of games and keep them in a backlog for long periods of times, i am still on my first bg3 playthrough 100+ hours in, very near the end. However, i finished mario wonder a few weeks ago before i started playing BG3 but i jjst now posted the review
