Finally beat this game, although with the help of my friend.
I agree with the opinion that in Area 4 & 5 there is really only the direct combat style of play to get you through, because otherwise if you slip up once, you're mincemeat.

Music is still positively boppin', no matter the number of runs and the intensity of the situation.
