I wanted to live this game so much more than i did however i just could not look past its glaring flaws. Fiest of the use of the screen layout is awesome and great a very dynamic feeling with 3d character and boss sprites which looks really cool and really pop. The story ia fine enough but really nothing special and blaze was a really fun addition. The problems here though almost outweighs the posititives. The bosses look stunning but they are soo anoying and booeing to fight just time wasters with one or two attacks. The zones while distinct and memorable hold for rhe most part some of the worst level design i have ever seen with instant deaths everywere and some baffeling bottomless pit placement. While it gave sonic a new spin with the admittedly really fun boost mechanic this first game just was not it for me.
