This has to be one of the dumbest FPS games I have ever played and I hold zero nostalgia for it, but I definitely like it for all the wrong reasons. Vast open zones that are undeniably far too big, guns that feel fine most of the time but don't help as much as you'd want when you're trapped in literally seconds by an unbelievably massive horde. This game is a staple of its time and teaches all the lessons that nobody should take, but I can't lie it is pretty fun to play.
