This game is definetely a piece of art.

The atmosphere, the acting, the visuals and the voices whispering all around your head (when you play it with headphones as the game reccomends and as you should play it) are absolutely mesmerizing.

The gameplay however, is a different story.

It feels like the developers focused so much on the artistic aspect of the game that they kinda forgot that they were making, you know, a game.

They didn't really decided if they would make a walking simulator in the likes of Firewatch or if they would make a game with a more complex gameplay so it just kinda got stuck in this weird repetitive limbo that doesn't fully pleases neither side and can be boring and frustrating.

If they improve on everything good in this and figure out the gameplay, the sequel has the potential to be truly amazing, but for now, I would highly reccomend that you just watch a no commentary playthrough on YT instead.
