This game really messed with my patience. I don’t mind random encounters usually, but the battle system is odd and fights go too slow. How quickly the battle songs loop in this version doesn’t help. And the amount of encounters is just too much, even for me. I felt lucky if I went 10 seconds without one. But the story is interesting & I was engaged with a lot of the cast (although many of the characters don’t have much development). It’s also cool to see some of the characters reappear in the Persona 2 games. I plan to read the P1 manga at some point
