Well written. Fun. Interesting. But not perfect. I had a hard time attempting to separate what this game does from what New Vegas did but I honestly think it's just impossible. Fallout and NV's design specifically are plastered all over this game, and many places where the game deviates from that design are its worst qualities. Specifically, I found character creation in this game to be rather boring, with both the traits and perks being completely awful. So much of this game is concerned with the companions when making player character progression seems so much more important! The story was good at least, although I kinda wish the companies and the board weren't so comically evil lol, literally no reason to ever consider siding with them other than "I'm a bad guy this playthrough!" Overall, I think this game is good, just hard to give it a fair shake when it has such an oppressive shadow looming over it. Looking forward to the sequel, whenever it releases.
