I never played the really early versions of this since the first time I played it was around August of last year and I'm really glad I waited until this was a full experience. This game fuckin rules so hard in pretty much everyway; the story is super interesting, the creature design is scary and creative and even the original score is really good. My only real issues with this game are that it gets ugly as sin whenever you're slightly above water level, like when you're on an island or the rocket, and that the end-game rocket building section is a total grind unless you've been collecting everything you've seen. Other than that, just a banger of a game.
