Ahh the last good cricket game in my opinion, cricket 07 remains the story of what could have been. While Madden and FIFA grew in scope and physics accuracy their best games remain the mad arcadey versions from atleast 10 years ago.
This is the same version for cricket. Mechanics that break easily and butchered player names to avoid rights litigations, the game is very very played and a product of its time, not even necessarily a good one at that.
But some games are just ...fun. They work well enough to fulfill your fantasy of being a sports star, and they are broken enough to make you feel like the best ever player to have played the sport.
If you have fun with a shitty game , is it not actually a good game then ? I say for me, yes, it is laced with nostalgia and good times :)
