Can't fucking believe I put this game off for so long it fuckings rocks.
While I would say the beginning could've been paced a bit better Resident Evil Village is still a superb follow up to the good but flaws BIOHAZARD, taking all that game had to offer and ramping it up tenfold. Much better design all around with some truly horrific enemy/weapon design, mixed in with some of my favorite characters in the franchise. Absolutely no one is wasted with standouts Duke and Heisenberg stealing every scene they are in. Ethan as well gets a lot more character development, making him easily a top 5 protag. As for issues I have a few, mainly with the beginning and some pacing issues throughout (the stronghold blows but it's also followed up with the best section in the game). Can't really say much else but I highly HIGHLY reccomend RE8 it's easily one of the best in the series and makes me so excited for the future of the franchise.
