So I do think the conclusion for this arc is actually pretty good and the expansion on the story here isn't bad at all. However, it does feel somewhat rushed and short given that we waited a while for what was not a very long conclusion.
That said, it was good. The world building was a little better than in belebog, though the ending fights are... in my opinion worlds apart. Cocolia fight clears Phantylia no questions.
SO. It was good yes, on par with the entire 1.0? No, obviously not. Way too many characters show up and get pretty much no screen time, music doesn't hit as hard mostly, other than the Dan Heng ocean parting scene.
ALSO NOT TO MENTION THE FUCKING GOD AWFUL YANQING BOSS FIGHT IN THE KAFKA QUEST.

Really good JRPG style gacha game. If it wasn't a gacha it would be a pretty solid JRPG. The base game 1.0 had a lot of content in terms of Story and Side Quests/Character quests. I enjoyed it a ton on launch.
Belebog was a really fun and interesting story to start out with and get us into the whole one piece train type thing, going to different planets every arc and solving problems.
+The Cocolia boss fight was one of the MOST HYPE boss fights I've ever played in a JRPG. I still get chills watching it.
The Xianzhou is less interesting imo but still pretty much on par writing wise, I guess just didn't hit as hard because it didn't END in 1.0.

First off. Genshin Impact did not create gacha games bozos. It merely showed that more ambitious projects and genres were profitable and worthwhile to make. The only "clone" part of this game is how familiar the UI feels and the fact that it's Open World with Gacha. Something that XC2 actually did quite similarly in 2017 granted that's not exactly open world but it was there.
It pretty much takes everything I like from Genshin and pretty much gets rid of the stuff I didn't like. So... It's great. For me at least. The combat is more enjoyable, relic/echo farming is much better, the story is just as serviceable if not better than Genshins at 1.0 and the world is also on par with Genshins, I like both for different reasons.
While the overall feel of the games is the same this is just preferable over Genshin to me. I even felt a bit nostalgic for Genshin while playing so I went to play and I just couldn't I got so bored. Just didn't feel as fun.
Regarding the launch, I literally had 0 issues since day 1 so... I can't comment on any bugs or glitches.
