(Reviewed after playing the entire "Sam Barlow Trilogy" as I call it: Her Story, Telling Lies, & Immortality)

I can best describe this game as a creative concept executed phenomenally. There's something so fun and engaging about piecing a story together bit by bit through short and disconnected video clips. Doing so was especially fun with friends over Discord. We had a blast reacting to new information that changed the timeline events we had constructed in our minds, and screaming at the minor horror/jumpscare elements.

Ultimately, Her Story is about the player experience, with the story being the enjoyable cherry on top. Its characters aren't anything special, and while the plot is well-told, it's really in service to that feeling of doing detective work and sifting through dozens of clips.
