I am glad that Reload exists, but i am a little disappointed that they miss an oportunity by playing too much safe.

Reload is almost, actually is basically entirely 1:1 to the original, with very small but cool changes, like new social episodes with the male cast from the party and some group activities, which are so good that shows how much bad the social links were.

The game is far better to play, it was the thing i hated the most while playing FES. Tartarus is better, but still garbage, sorry. Besides the combat being fun now, there is almost nothing more to be glad when returning to climb up the +200 floors...

Revisiting the social links and doing all of them showed me how bad and boring most of them were. Akinari (Sun) still the best social link in the modern personas, but the rest of them are so hard to care. Thank god they are now full voice acted, i love it, please Atlus continue this. Praise to the english voice actress of Yuko! And all of the others of course.

Besides that, there is nothing more to talk about reload because i already said it is almost 1:1 to the original. My least favorite persona for a lot of motives, it is not the definitive version we wanted (for now, because we probably will receive an Answer DLC), but it is a game that i would now recommend instead of FES.

Yet, it is a persona game and i love this shit...

So, Persona 5 is the best game of my life, so I was really excited for this remake. I know it's 1:1, as you said, but I feel like it has very little content. When I compare it to 5, which has the same schedule time, I end up feeling like there are few options of what to do.

@LeonardoMF93 the original P3 it's exactly like that, but worse because tartarus was terrible and made the gameplay loop from social sim to dungeon very repetitive. P5 has longer days and more evenly distributed arcs, making the story of P3, which only really happens after 80% of the game, seems very empty. The night time don't help too because almost all of the social links are all after school/morning and they are very short in time comparing to the duration of the confidants. That is the point of my disappointment because they could at least made some good changes to make the game more enjoyable from the start, instead they bring all the emptyness of content again and it really hurts the flow of the game. At least we got some little new moments with the male cast that help a little, but it will become worse in the ending when you will just go to sleep most of the nights.

You've just pinpointed all the issues I have with this game! Don't get me wrong, I'm having fun, but there are times when I get really tired. I still find Tartarus to be very repetitive and tiresome, and the nighttime part feels really aimless. I'm also annoyed that the social links with the team members take so long to unlock, and all you want to do is talk to them.

Now, I'm in summer vacation, and it feels like I've entered an eternal loop of talking to people I don't want to during the day and going to Tartarus at night to climb about 10 floors.

P5 is long, but you don't feel the time passing; here, it always feels very exhausting.

The game is really good, and the remake was important, but it's not exciting me as much as I had imagined.

Reading what you just said in the comments has put me at ease because I didn't want to be the only one seeing these issues. If you read the reviews here on the site, people practically only have praises.

P3 is a very special game for a lot of people, i still think the message of the game its better than the game itself. The people who are rushing to play it are mostly the ones who played the original so it's normal they are more emotive about it. You are not alone in not liking the pacing, tartarus and the social links, it is my least favorite modern persona for these motives. Besides it was their first attempt to the calendar system, something that was done better in P4, and finally getting to P5.

Honestly, I felt much calmer after reading your comments. I hope it gets even more interesting in the final part.
