The Remake makes the "point" the meaning of what the original route intended all along much more clear. With better action, more fleshed out conversations and lore, Remake's Arc Route is much more coherent than the original Tsukihime. It still doesn't get as good as Fate Stay Night, as, at its core, the story is a lot simpler than FSN ever was, but the characters shine, and the individaul moments are extremely gripping.

What Tsukihime really shines with are of course the heroines, Akiha and Arcueid are extremely interesting and alluring. While they might not be the most original characters on the face of it, Nasu's writing gives them a lot more depth than you would expect in the end, creating excellent dramatic moments for the story.

In general, this is probably the best VN since the golden age of the 00s.
