The next-gen patch is more of a general performance update. The major additions is the performance mode running the game at 60fps. Also adding new side quests that were mods on the Creation Club originally.

Overall, it's nothing major. But the stable 60fps makes the experience slightly more pleasant. Other than that it's still just Fallout 4, warts and all.
