A very charming but frustrating game. The graphics are beautiful, especially in places like the museum or aquarium, the detail in many of the items is astounding, the QOL improvements give you a better experience than past games, a good but flawed soundtrack taking a step down compared to past games, and the same goes for villagers dialogues and interactions being worse than in past games.

The QOL improvements are a mixed bag since they made some things way better, but others are still extremely tedious and they also added some limitations that don't really make sense, those are things that can make you completely drop the game or stop playing for months. The same goes for villagers interactions, there are some very fun or cute moments thanks to the things they added, but it gets old pretty quickly and you end up reading or watching the same thing many, many times.

Animal Crossing New Horizons is a nice and pleasant experience, but flawed and tedious in some aspects.
