A huge leap forward for the franchise. I've been a fan of this series since I was young and while it's not my favorite game in the series it's definitely up there. The catching and exploration are the obvious stars of the show here, but the combat is also quick, to the point, and much flashier compared to other switch entries in the series. I do wish the maps had a little more complexity to them along with a minor graphical tweak in areas that are more open, which often end up looking blurry and unpolished.
