I like the representation (which is more obvious than in the Umineko VN, nice) even though it's not 100% well executed, and ambition, but this is very much an "episode 1 of a When They Cry" kind of VN. At least I like Ryukishi's new art style so I don't think this will need console sprites, but the OST isn't as good as Umineko's, not even close. They play the same 4 songs 24/7 too

also Phase 2, just like Mahoyo 2, is never coming out, damn
