Believe me, I'm just as shocked as you are. Fucking Bust-a-Move 4 on Gameboy Color is the most colorblind-friendly Bust-A-Move game I've played so far? I'm so shocked I almost forgot to comment on how it's Bust-a-Move and not Bust-A-Move again.

So before getting onto the Colorblind Rating, let's talk about the game; this one lacks an Endless mode, instead only having Puzzle, Vs. CPU, and Challenge (why Puzzle and Challenge are distinct I have no idea, they should really be the same thing at this rate).
Also, despite being on much inferior hardware, the character selection is much better than Puzzle Bubble Pocket; I think Alkanet is my favorite out of the bunch, they've got a pretty cute win pose.

Okay, let's get to the good stuff.

Colorblindness Rating: A-
I'm super surprised that this game managed to do what the others couldn't; MAKE DISTINCTIVE PATTERNS THAT ARE EASY TO RECOGNIZE AND HARD TO MIX UP. Since the game only has about 4 colors of bubbles, they add in other "colors" by mixing them with patterns, so you have blue with a red checkerboard pattern or red with a yellow cross inside of it. I really like how each color is distinctive enough that you don't mix them up like orange and yellow in most other Bust-A-Move games.

Man. I can't believe the GAMEBOY COLOR version is the best Bust-A-Move version I've played. Hopefully the Playstation version fares just as good, but I'm not holding my breath.
