Played for a little while while traveling. I'm still at the beginning. The VN part is longer than actual gameplay at the beginning.

And yes, it does work on Steam Deck! I use Proton-GE ver 8-32 w/ one launch parameter: PROTON_USE_WINE3D=1 %command%

I'm not sure if this launch parameter is necessary, but I decided to use it just in case.

Unfortunately, one of the special weapons I have not gotten yet was glitched (according to the achievement guide on TrueAchievements). As a result, I have to start a new file, as resuming after the final boss battle won't let you go back to shop. Missable achievements suck.

Early Access game, but it seems like it's abandoned.

There is a Linux version, but it did not have the same latest version as Windows has. As a result, I use Proton GE to stick to the latest version of the game.

After I defeated the Sentry boss and moved to next stage, there is a game breaking bug where if you happen to lose your member, the game doesn't spawn new member thus resulting a soft lock. This is what happens when developers abandoned the game and didn't address issues like this. 🚩

P.S. I'm not sure if beating the Sentry boss counts as beaten.

Unforunately, none of the achievements I tried to earn are working. I'm playing it on Linux OS (Linux Mint). And it doesn't matter if I'm using compatibility layer or not. Looks like it's 100% unobtainable unless the game has to be played only on Windows OS.
