I didn't play much immersive sims so I can't compare CTRL ALT EGO with other games in the genre, but I can gladly say that this game has one of the most (if not the most) open ended gameplays you can see. You can solve almost all problems in every way you want (or completely skip them). With your robotic applications, you can explore every nook and cranny and you are always rewarded for it. Anyways, play this game even if you didn't play any imsims before.

Also the ending got me emotional a bit ngl
