The legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom addresses all complaints and criticisms people have raised to Breath's of the Wild's approach to an open world Zelda game. Greater performance, more useful powers and combat abilities (the latter ones sadly being harder to use successfully), a much longer and much more prominent and varied OST, a much more lively depiction of hyrule and way, way more oportunities for player expression were implemented to please the most skeptical of Zelda fans.

All that being said, all those changes were done within the framework established by Breath of the wild itself, so if you did not like that game at all, you'll probably not like this one. On the other hand, if you thought it had potential but lacked polish in one or more of its mechanics, then this game should do the trick for you.

I can't recommend this game enough and I can now easily say it's probably the best Zelda game I've played.
